The New Year s Concert 2026 at the Vienna Musikverein presents five premieres, including two pieces by female composers, as announced by the Vienna Philharmonic. The proportion of works composed by women has thus been doubled compared to the previous year. Yannick Nézet-Séguin from Canada will conduct the concert for the first time.
